More Blend Activities---All of the S Blends

I am so excited I just finished my S Blend Bundle on Teachers Pay Teachers. It is packed full of 19 different activities for each of the S Blends--just like my R and L Blend pack. You can see my previous post to see full size images of the activities that are included. I think you will find that they are packed full of all different types of activities that your students will love. If you download the sample, you can try some of the activities out before you purchase.

I hope you are having a fantastic summer!  It sure is flying by!  I can't believe it is already July!

19 Different Blend Activities with every R and L Blend

I am excited to finish my blends activities bundle. I have 19 different activities to reinforce all of the different R and L blends. I love the way it turned out!

It is similar to my Fun with Sight Words packet and my CVC Packet, but I have added several more activities, too!  I have added some pictures of the activities to show you what all is included.

Here is the blend book. Students write their own sentence with each picture. Then it is colored,  cut apart and stapled.

In this activity, students find the special blend words and color them. Then they graph the number of "blend" words they find. It reinforces phonics and math. :-)

I had the same idea with this practice except students have to read the words and graph. It takes it one step further in that the student then has to decide how many MORE bl words they can write to make the graph equal.

This activity combine the FUN of spinning and graphing with learning how to blend blends and rimes.

This is one of the sheets I use to introduce the blend. Students color, trace, and find the blend. They are then asked to choose one of the blend words, write it in a sentence, and illustrate it.

I have included TONS of picture and word cards for each blend.  I love all the graphics!  Super Thanks to all of those who are able to draw these wonderful
 pictures!
www.mycutelittlegraphics.com has TONS of FREE clipart!  I love them!

Krista Walden with The Creative Chalkboard  has the cutest, most colorful clipart!

And I love Educlips' clipart as well!

Here is another artist I use a lot in my products. She has very cute clipart as well.

I have added the game I Have, Who Has? to this package!  My students love playing this game!

In this last activity I am showing you, the students practice reading blend words and color them the appropriate color.

I hope you like this bundle as well as I do. I have posted some of the activities for free in the preview in my Teachers Pay Teachers Store. You can find it by clicking this link.

I have it on sale for the first 24 hours! Hope you enjoy.

Make sure to check out my Fun with Sight Words packet and my CVC packet as well. Just because I am putting those on sale for the first 24 hours, too!!  Hope you are having a fabulous summer!!!

Sale in my TPT Store

Since it is Father's Day, I have decided to throw a sale on my Teachers Pay Teachers Store. I have added a lot of new products to my store!  Everything is 20% off!
http://www.teacherspayteachers.com/Store/Reaching-Reluctant-Readers-One-Reader-At-A-Time

First, I have added Smartboard lessons that go along with the lessons in Leveled Literacy Intervention (LLI). I love being able to have a neat work space around my room. No more messy charts, and I don't have to flip through a 1000 of them to find the right one!

I have also bundled all of my comprehension activities that I have created that go along with LLI.  They are cheaper if you purchase a bundle, and I have those 20% off, too! I have finished creating all of the orange, green, and blue kits!

Here is an example of one level.

In addition to all of the LLI products I have created, I have also worked on some skills products. I have a sight word package based on Jan Richardson's recommendation for sight words as well as the Fountas and Pinnell Continuum.

I LOVE these activities!
I have created a pre/post assessment so you know whether or not your students know the words and so you can keep documentation of what words need to be practiced or learned.

Here is one of the activities in the packet.

Hope you are having a great summer!  Tomorrow is my first day off after several days of professional development to finish out this past school year!

I've just created my own store on Teachers Pay Teachers! http://www.teacherspayteachers.com/Store/Reaching-Reluctant-Readers-One-Reader-At-A-Time I have published all of the comprehension quizzes from the Orange, Green, and Blue systems to go along with LLI (Leveled Literacy Intervention)!

This example is from Blue Level E.

Here are some more examples of the multiple choice comprehension assessments I have created for LLI. Make sure and visit my new store for more examples. I am also in the process of creating Smartboard lessons to go with my LLI lessons. :-) I am absolutely LOVING my new Smartboard!!!  And so are my students!!!

This example is from the Orange System Level B.

Here is another example from Green Level H.

And here is one more example from the Blue system from Level L....

In addition to the comprehension assessments, I have also created some skills sheets to go with the skills that are taught at each level as well. Here are some examples of those as well.
